Carribbean Beach or Kidani?

Looking to book for July and wondering people's thoughts. Which resort to book for a family of four with two little ones? I am thinking that the pools are each hotel are fairly nice. Any thoughts or opinions?

You might want to post on the Resorts board to get more info...

We have stayed at CBR and it was great. They have a wonderful waterplay area for young kids (not sure how "little" are your little ones) and a great pool with 2 water slides for the older ones, plus a zero-entry area that works for little ones as well.

I don't have experience at Kidani.

Kidani. Hands down.
Kidani is deluxe, CBR is moderate. And if you get the 1 bedroom, you'll get 2 bathrooms.
You'll also have my favorite restaurant (Sanaa) downstairs.
The pool is awesome, with hot tubs and a little water play area.
And, of course, there's the savanna, stocked with african wildlife...giraffe, zebra, wildebeest.....

Kidani! Hands down best water play area for small kids and they will love watching the animals!! My 2yo DS LOVED playing there. That and parking under the building is pretty convenient if your driving (although from google maps, parking at CBR doesn't look too bad either).

Have a great time

Nearly everyone is going to recommend Kidani Village; it's in a completely different category and is significantly more expensive than Caribbean Beach. Directly comparing the two without any consideration being made towards the difference in price isn't very fair for Caribbean Beach.

OP didn't ask which was cheaper, that's easy enough to figure out. BTW, if you rent Kidani from an owner, you won't pay anywhere near the rack rate.
So, there's nothing wrong with CBR, but, as you said, it's not comparable to Kidani - has nothing do with being fair.

I'd go with Kidani simply for the fact that there is a near 100% chance you won't have any tour groups at that resort. Keeps you from having to work around large groups of kids descending on QS area or the pool when you are trying to grab a meal or use the pool. Instant bottleneck.

I'd pick Kidani Village. We stayed there Jan 2012 and absolutely loved it! There are so many fun things to do around the resort. If you stay there, make sure you do the activities and collect the beads. It's a lot of fun!

If you want to stay with a moderate resort though, my favorite is Coronado Springs. I've stayed at Caribbean Beach also, but I just didn't like it as much and the pools all seemed so much more crowded than they did at Coronado Springs.

Whatever you decide, I hope you have a great trip!

I clearly understand that there is a major difference between a moderate and deluxe resort. I guess I should have worded my question a bit better. I was curious about the pool area at Carribbean in comparison to Kidani. Although money really isn't an issue, I don't want to spend way more to go to Kidani if the pool at Carribbean is just as good.

NOte: I thought I posted this in the resort section. Blonde moment!

If you want the best pool, then your #1 choice should be Yacht/Beach club.

Between Kidani and Caribbean Beach, I'd say that Caribbean's pool is better. Kidani's pool isn't anything special, though the rest of the resort is a lot nicer than Caribbean Beach.

Caribbean Beach pool
Kidani Village pool

Kidani actually has a nice pool. Its zero entry and the Sumawati Springs is fun for little ones

Plus there is an overlook onto the Okapi's savanna nearby
