Where'd the zebas go?

Was at Animal Kingdom today and the zebras weren't in their area on the safari. Anyone know more?

We did the safari Wednesday and the driver said they were still making changes to their habitat so they aren't onstage right now. No comment on how long this would take.

Before the habitat was built, you could see them if you went to the Animal Kingdom Lodge. Maybe they're still there!

The hard part was training them to use the elevator and work the door keys.

I don't buy that cockamamie story about "migrating" one bit.

I'll bet they were just stuck in the elevators and didn't want to admit it.

I heard from a bus driver that AKL was overbooked so they moved them to the Poly. So they were probally stuck on the Monorail and not an elevator.

I don't know, though. I haven't read any threads here today about anyone being stuck on the Monorail with a smelly zebra. Surely there would be such a thread, wouldn't there?

The zebras are having a difficult time in the exhibit. Zebras are feisty and a bit high strung. They are making changes to the habitat to help

I had a stick of CareFree gum, but it didn't work. I felt pretty good while I was blowing that bubble, but as soon as the gum lost its flavor, I was back to pondering my mortality.

Well, I heard from a bus driver that the zebras are furious.

First, Budweiser passed on them for the Super Bowl commercial.

Then, due to the monorail situation they missed their ADR's at BOG.

Now, they are are fuming because some tourist called them smelly and they think that is like the pot calling the kettle black. After all, dole whips, turkey legs, and mickey waffles do not equal Chanel No 5.

But, doesn't AKL have the RFID door locks? This would make it MUCH easier for the zebras, if they had wristbands, too!

So, if you see the zebras around, please report back what colors wristbands the zebras are getting.
