Luggage limit?

What is the limit of luggage that each person can check in? And how many carry on bags are you allowed?

You will receive 2 luggage tags per person. If you need more, the porters will be able to provide more. If you are flying and taking the bus, not sure how that works since we have never used that service.

If you are arriving at the port with your luggage, please don't forget to tip the porters.

As for the carry on bags, you can take as many as you want as long as they fit in the security scanner (think airport scanners) and you are willing to lug them around. The rooms don't open until 1:30 so you have to keep the carry on bags with you until you get to your room.

As above, you can have as many bags as you wish. You are sent 2 tags per person for your "checked" bags. Additional tags are available at MCO at the Welcome Center, from the porters at the terminal, and from bell services at any WDW resort.

Take it from someone who has done this a lot. Lay out everything you think you will need and get rid of half of it. Then really scrutinize what is left and get rid of one more outfit. You won't need as much as you think. My wife and I each packed a carryon for a 7-day Fantasy cruise, including appropriate Remy attire, and still had clothes we never wore. She had twice as many shoes as she actually wore. No one will judge you for re-wearing clothes.

That would never work for us. We always wear almost everything we take [other than the just in case it's chilly jeans] and I pack an outfit for each day and a different one for dinner.

We generally only travel with carry on size suitcases. If it doesn't fit, we don't need it!

This is good advice.

This wording is in the cruise contract:

Baggage, Valuables and Other Possessions
Each Guest may bring aboard the ship a reasonable amount of clothing and personal effects without charge, not to exceed two bags per person.

packing light or heavy?

We do go on trips where we fit everything into a carryon but a cruise is not one of those trips. We also enjoy a different outfit each day and a change for dinner. To each his (or her) own.
