Joffrey's Coffee

Since Joffrey's coffee is replacing Nescafe in the Parks do you think it will replace Nescafe on ships?

Not to be a pessimist but has anyone ever actually had this coffee? It's hard to imagine it being worse, but I've never heard of it.

The announcement included the fact that they will make special blends for Disney. They probably want to make sure it tastes like the old Nescafe..

The announcement I read did not mention DCL specifically as being changed but I think many people hope it is. I can't really comment on the taste of the coffee onboard/parks as I don't drink it.

Products from Joffrey's Coffee and Tea Co. will be replacing the Nescafe Coffee found in the Disney theme parks and Disney Vacation Club properties. Guests at Walt Disney World and the Disneyland Resort have often complained about the quality of the coffee, so presumably this will be a welcome change. The company will also produce special blends designed just for the Disney locations. Guests will be able to purchase these products to take home as well. The change should occur within the next few months; the new agreement does not affect the addition of Starbucks to the theme parks.

They sell it in Publix in bags. It's not bad. Also, I think that DH has had it in the Contemporary - it's at a coffee cart type thing & they sell espressos, lattes & the like.

And, it's out of TAMPA Love the support of local businesses!!!

Joffrey's Coffee is already available at WDW. All the 'Espresso, Coffee, and Pastries' kiosks are run by Joffrey's.

Joffrey's has already been operating their speciality coffee kiosks in the parks for a number of years, and has also been supplying espresso and other coffees for the signature dining locations at the parks and resorts.

Just going to say Publix sells it in bags, also they have some coffee shops, too. But since they sell flavored coffees, lattes, espressos, etc., I was wondering about competiton with Cove Cafe, or if only regular and decaf would be all that is offered. Probably contracts are separate so Nescafe will remain the DCL coffee.

Knew that, but wondered since it appears it will be the coffee in the resorts and restaurants now.

That was what I thought, but was just wondering. Actually not a big deal for me. I do drink coffee, but for some reason, have never wanted it on a cruise. DH, on the other hand, likes coffee at breakfast and again with dessert at dinner.

On the Wonder, I noticed that the Cove Cafe is now serving Illy espresso. I don't know if the other 3 ships have switched as well.
