Refund?

I checked email this morning and got a message from the cruiseline for confirmation of our upcoming cruise. I then noticed at the bottom of the email that I now have a refund! (It's only 25$ but hey I'll take it ) I didn't see a difference in travel fare for any of us so I only assume that maybe the taxes/insurance rate changed. Anyway... will they actually credit my credit card or will they just add this to my stateroom account?

It's likely port charges/taxes. If you paid with CC, it will be credited to that.

This happened to us as well and it was the taxes and fees that changed it. I got the notification over a month ago and there has been no credit return on my card, so I am thinking it must go to your OBC. I agree though, any little bit of savings helps so I was really excited to see the credit! I also noticed that it is stated as a credit online at the DCL website as well.

You should call...each time we had a reduction in taxes/fees it was put back on our credit card.

Not sure....any refund we ever got due to taxes/port fee changes just went on our credit card-we never got notification of it happening.

The refund will go to the CC you first made the deposit with. This was a problem for us because we had closed that account and it was an OBB made a couple years before. I had to contact our old CC company and tell them to send us a check for the amount they were sent. Since then, it has shown up pretty quickly on our CC statement. It happens each cruise.

Really? Thanks. I will. We haven't been credited yet on our cc. Just an email saying that we were owed a refund. I'll call them today. Thanks again.
