This is our first time camping at FW and I was wondering, can we drive our golf cart to the boat dock and leave it there for the day while we are at the park so it is there when we get back in the evening?

Yes, there is golf cart parking at the Marina, Settlement and Outpost areas where you may park as long as you like.

Thats nice to know! I have never rented a golfcart but I am considering it next time!

There is also a parking spots across from Pioneer Hall. All of the parking areas have electric so that you can charge your cart as well.

Thanks! I keep going back and forth on my reservations! Knowing more about the golf carts help! I made reservations last fall for over the 4th of July at Fort wilderness that I still have! I also made and have now cancelled at All Stars Movie! I can stay at New AOA or standard at Pop for about the same price only with one less day. I can't seem to make up my mind if I want to Camp/All Stars/Pop/AOA. If I camp & rent a golf cart for the week (even from Disney) I would have more spending money (even pulling the camper and extra cost of gas)and could come down 2 days earlier. What I really want is to go over the 4th for the price I went in the fall with the free dining and thats not going to happen! LOL! I think thats my problem!

There are lots of hotels the world around, but only one Fort Wilderness can be found!

I will agree with that!

That is one way to look at it! One thing my family does like better is taking the boat over to Magic Kingdom!

Love the Fort!!! Great place to stay... We feel like we really got away from the crowds when we were there and relaxed! Loved everything about it. Rent the golf cart! Well worth the money and loved parking it at the dock, etc...

We rented from Kenny and thought it was a great deal!
