Villas At Grand Floridian Resort

I just read that the cost per point will be $145 at this new DVC resort. Just wondering if anyone knows how the point system will work. Studio vs. one bedroom...etc. We were just at Disney for Christmas and it was moving along nicely, will be going back in a couple of days and I can't wait to see the progress that was made.

i don't think allears said what you think they mean. here is the actual quote:

Quote:
Prices to reach $145 per point in March: As the start of sales for the Villas at Disney's Grand Floridian Resort draws closer, Disney is set to increase prices on two other properties yet again.
i would just keep an eye on this thread:

I didn't read the All Ears e-mail that way. It says: "Prices to reach $145 per point in March: As the start of sales for the Villas at Disney's Grand Floridian Resort draws closer, Disney is set to increase prices on two other properties yet again."

I read that language to mean prices at the other two properties DVC is selling were increasing to $145--I didn't understand that to represent the prices at Grand Floridian. YMMV.

No big deal. It is fun to speculate about what the price per point will be--honestly, I would shocked if it was $145. Even though I've supposedly sworn off feeding this dreaded disease I have known as "addonitis," even I would be tempted to buy at that price!

For a Flagship Resort, I could see them charging $175 a point for presales.

I think $175 is a very, very good estimate. However, if $175 were the "over/under line" in Las Vegas, I would definitely take the over!
