*Holiday Shopping Thread 2013*

Hey girls Dorothy Perkins have 20%off some of their clothing ranges online at the moment so it may be worth taking a look there. I have three dresses selected for later payment which come to under £60!! Some of the footwear is reduced too, might be handy if you are looking for new sandals or flat shoes. Keep looking for those bargains

I'm still disappointed at the lack of summer clothes in the shops, hopefully there will be more in over the next few weeks or so

I did treat myself to this tankini top, but I didn't get the bottoms as it just looked too much, but the top looks lovely with some plain shorts



I also bought these this morning from Next



Has anyone else had any more luck than me ?

Nope Mandy, no luck at all really. I've lost over 4 stone since last May and none of my holiday clothes fit. I managed to pick up some T shirts at the end of the summer sales which although a bit big now will do - but we fly in 6 weeks and I have a serious lack of clothes! Yesterday I got some cropped linen white trousers and a pair of cropped denim coloured thin trousers in Next at Cheshire Oaks ... part of the sp made for the outlet range but at least they're summery. Looking everywhere for long shorts and can't find them anywhere. Need to get a swimming costume too ....aaargh!

Mandymouse I finally got around to ordering two dresses from Dorothy Perkins with 25% off to collect from our local store , a nice black with white polka dots dress with a belt and a bird print grey one with a black ribbon tie around the middle and some black straight jeans and grey jeggings so not bad £79 for all four items. Your sandals look like a pair I have from a couple of years ago that look so nice and sparkly and they go with many outfits.

Im still not having any luck. Ive only got 4 weeks left to shop
Although as I havent lost as much weight as i'd hoped, I think I may have enough clothes. Could do with some new crops/shorts though.

I don't have those problems this year, at least not until later this year. For our May holiday I am more likely to need winter clothes as we are off to Alaska.

I'm just back from a lovely weekend in Milton Keynes with hubby and he treated me to a couple of dresses from Debenhams for our cruise

I just need a pair of shorts, some cropped jeans, a couple of tops (which I may wait to buy when I'm there), and maybe a pair of sandals

We were in Milton Keynes this weekend too unfortunately all I got treated to was a coffee.

Lovely dresses though, I love the bits from coast - so flattering.

I got me some clothes today for spring/summer, as I've lost over 4 stone since August so i was in need of some clothes that would fit for the nicer weather, I still aim to loose another 1 stone 6 pounds before my holiday to WDW in August! Fingers crossed I loose that in the next few months then I can go holiday clothes shopping eeeeek! Exciting stuff!

Wow well done on your weight loss!! I'm so glad you could find some nice holiday clothing, it's a bit hit and miss up here with the new season clothing in shops at the moment . Good luck for the next few months with your weight loss goal.

Thanks! It certainly is amazing! :-) feels good! Got a way to go yet though! And thanks I have pretty good will power At the moment so I should loose it fairly quickly, or at least I hope I do! To be honest there really wasn't as much as I hoped clothes wise, but I got a dress and 4 pairs of shorts so its a start! :-)

and I recently bought these sandals from New Look too



I'm still on the look out for some denim shorts, but they all seem to be short shorts around these days (and the world isn't ready for me in them )
