Family T-shirts??? - The DIS Discussion Forums

We have our iron on appliques ordered, but where can we find matching (blank) t-shirts ranging in size from 18 months, to a childs size 6-7 and adult sizes? We would rather not do white, looking for a blue maybe. I'm having trouble finding shirts in all size ranges that are the exact same color. Ideas???

I you don't mind ordering jiffyshirts dot com has great selection, prices and ships very quickly.

A.C.Moore (craft store) has plain t-shirts in all colors and sizes.

Thanks everyone for the ideas! We don't have the AC Moore stores anywhere around here, but I have looked into the other suggestions. I can find shirts in identical brand/color for all of us - except the size 18 month. XS (which I think is like a 3-4) is the smallest I can find.

I thought about getting the XS and seeing if I can alter it, but I'm not sure how that would work out. If worse comes to worse, we will just have to do white, but we really wanted a shade of blue - kind of a turquoise/caribbean/aqua sort of color. I can find onsies or t shirts in a close shade of blue (thru jiffyshirts) but just not quite the same color.

Yeah I'm a little picky

Wash the XS in super hot water & dry on hot & shrink the heck out of it! (Before you do the appliques).

Is this for a boy or girl? When we needed a 18mo shirt for a company picnic we had a ribbon sewn on bottom and tied a bow and it was so cute or cut it shorter and sewn bottom with ribbon, if its for a girl.......

Just wanted to post what we ended up doing, since we had to get creative for the size 18 month! We found matching shirts in all 4 of the adults sizes and the youth size 6 at Hobby Lobby, for a very reasonable price (under $5 each!). For the size 18 month, we bought the shirt in a size adult large. My daughter had a pattern for a simple romper; she was able to cut the pieces out of the adult shirt. So now baby will "match" the rest of the family - the pirate mickey appliques came in 3 different sizes too...so it has worked out nicely! Thanks again for the help.
