Hi-
I ate GF at WDW for the first time in Dec and it was a truly wonderful experience!

We ate at Via Napoli in Epcot twice. Here are a few of the pasta dishes that they can make gluten free:

Spaghetti e Polpettine - hand-crafted veal meatballs & tomato sauce $21.00
Mezze Rigatoni alla Creme con Pollo - cream, chicken and peas $24.00
Linguini Frutti di Mare - shrimp, clams, mussels, and squid tossed in marinara piccante $29.00

The Meatballs were left off of the spaghetti. I didn't care for the sauce- it tasted a like canned sauce to me. Others in my group tasted it as well and had the same reaction.

However, the Mezze Rigatoni all Creme con Pollo was wonderful!! It's like an alfredo sauce and we all thought it was very good.

Sadly, no GF pizza is offered in this restaurant.

I forgot about Mama Melrose. Here's my review from this past August. I wouldn't hesitate to return.

My four year old daughter is gluten free. Is it worth a special trip over to downtown Disney to go to baby cakes?

I've got pictures in most of the reviews so don't look if you're already hungry.

The DTD Babycakes location is 100% vegan which means nothing will have any dairy. Their NYC and LA locations do have items with dairy but not at WDW.

Thank you so much for posting this and for all the responses! My son just recently went gluten free and I had heard that Disney handled it well but this goes above and beyond! Thanks so much for all of the tips and info!!

I don't know if it would be worth going to DTD just to go to Babycakes, but DD loved the cupcakes she had there.

Folks seem to have covered it pretty well. (Someone suggested I come over and help.)

Bottom line is as soon as it comes time to order, or as soon as you are seated, just say the magic word! Gluten! And everything changes! You will be told to wait for the chef and from there on out, you are the eater of the day!

Babycakes are also available in the case at Art of Animation's Landscape of Flavors. The glass refrigerator- not all the CM's know.

Only caveat is BOG which I found very disappointing. (lunch) One item, take it or leave it, next!

Other than that, it doesn't matter where you are- the service and care are extraordinary!

I really DO want to live there!
I circulate my paper clips at work so they all get used or I feel like they'd be sad if they didn't get a "turn".

(And of course, you know to always hit GF "bread" or cookie type things with 15 -60- seconds in the microwave? Disney will do that for you.)
