Can transferred points be banked? - The DIS Discussion Forums

I just read someone stating they could be.
I thought they could not be.
I also thought they retained their original use year.
Example: I buy August 2012 points to transfer into my Dec use year.
Can I then bank them?

Banked points can not be transfered but transfered points can be banked. The points retain their original UY and home resort status.

If you transfer in Aug 2012 points, you have until the end of April 2013 to bank them, (8 months).

You can't "buy" transfered points, it's against the rules unless you are Disney selling one time use points.
