Should I book POR??
Booking a trip for May and considering POR. Last year we stayed at CSR and loved it but want to try something new this year. Is it worth it? And if so, what section should we request? Thanks!
![]() ![]() PS Are there hammocks at POR? |

We recently booked POR with a PIN code for May! We've stayed at POFQ twice before and thought we'd change it up a bit this time (plus the POR discount was greater than the POFQ one). We've booked a Royal room which should be fun.

We just checked out from POR. It was fantastic!! The royal rooms are gorgeous; even more impressive than the photos online.
The resort itself is stunning. I have no experience at other resorts but i cant imagine staying anywhere else at WDW.

We love POR! We'll be staying there again in June. It is so relaxing after a hectic day in the parks. Piano Bob is great family fun in the lounge. The food court is wonderful too.

Should you book POR?.....
Only if you want to have a great time at a beautiful resort with incredibly attentive staff and an outstanding food court! ( at least that's been our experiences there!) We can't wait for our next stay there! |

we are going in May and I can't wait. We have friends that are Disney Club members, they go often and to many different resorts, POR is their favorite and recomended it to us.

There are several booking categories; standard, garden view, riverview. You can go to the POR thread and see where Andre has identified which rooms are which booking categories; you can take a look at the overall map and decide which location works for you. While some of the rooms in Parterre Place can be very remotely located, I actually prefer the riverview rooms, because they are so close to the river and offer a wonderful view. |
