Sarah - your color run photos are great! There was one up in Portland when we visited mom. We saw a group of runners at the mall. I had to explain it to my mother. LOL

I cleaned off my desk today.

I couldn't find my little wrench for the locking pin backs. Sure enough, buried on my desk. Doesn't help that it's black and I have a black desk pad. Ugh. But now my park backpack pins are updated (Christmas pins off, Spring pin on!). I've started packing, much to hubby's dismay. LOL

Good morning, ladies! Super Bowl Sunday!! I only watch for the commercials.

Actually, it's been a bit of a crazy morning already. Lindsey woke up with a stomach ache, and unfortunately threw up twice. I know there is a stomach flu going around out there but was hoping we'd miss it. I do not want to deal with that. Especially so close to the trip.
Oh, well.

I bought those locking pin backs but can't figure out how they work.

Those pictures looked so awesome I looked up Color Runs and found that there will be a Seattle Color Run in May, so we're going to do it. My super awesome runner friend was all over it and already has a team together! Registration starts on the 15th, and it just looks like so much fun!

I'm not much of a runner, but I'm going to try to do a 5K (or better) each month this year.

On Saturday, I'm doing a 'Jump Start your Heart' 5K in Mission Bay, San Diego. It goes along the beach and has 'fitness stations' in the sand along the way. It benefits the Children's Heart Association, so I had to do it.

In March I'm going to sign up for the Hot Chocolate Run in San Diego. Yup, Chocolate. Even the 5K runners get a nice sweatshirt/jacket and at the finish you get a bowl full of stuff to dip in the chocolate fondue and chocolate fountain. Plus lots of free samples of chocolate - yum. That one is just a couple of days before my birthday, and it benefits Ronald MacDonald House, so I'm going to do that one too.
Haven't looked as far ahead as April yet.

Hi, just checking in. I'm home from New Jersey, and I'll be here for a few days before I head out for a conference in Washington DC on the 10th I'll PM my team and see if we have a name. I think I'm caught up on everything else. I found my gift exchange gift, think I know what I'm wearing to the party, and signed up for my snack table item.

I unpacked but left my suitcase out for my DC trip, and I keep forgetting what I'm packing for and throwing Diva trip stuff in, then realizing that they might not be appropriate for a Red Cross conference.

Use the little wrench to loosen the screw in the side of the nut. Don't take it all the way out, just far enough so you can slip it on the pin. Then tighten it back up. I get a slightly different model on ebay that are shorter. The Disney ones are so long, they are hard to use for certain things.

Have fun!! It's going to be my daughters first run. It looks like a blast. I would have signed up, since it's not timed, but those registration fees sure do add up fast. Oh, well. I'll have fun cheering her on.
