Unable to add toddler to French Riviera excursion? - The DIS Discussion Forums

So I did our online check and was able to register everyone and book everything with only one apparent glitch.

Our 17 month old son was grayed out and is not included in our St Maartin excursion - the French Riviera Rendevous. This excursion is not supposed to be limited to any specific age. I he not listed because there is no charge for him?

That has been my experience, yes, but you should double-check with Port Adventures desk when you board the ship just in case.

That has been our experience and we have never had a problem. If the excursion allows kids under 3 but doesn't charge for them, you don't need a ticket and just show up with them.

Thanks for the replies. I had a moment of midnight panic last night when i was scheduling but you've made me feel much better!

Totally agree with the others--it is likely a "no charge" for kids under 2 or under 3. BUT, go to Port Adventures after boarding and verify that all is well. Feel free to call DCL in advance, but my experience is that they don't always know what they are talking about. The Port Adventures desk will know for sure.

Just a quick update in case others have this worry. We received our cruise docs and the baby still wasn't listed on the excursion, so I called the TA. She confirmed with DCL that he's not listed because he is under 3 but that he will absolutely be coming with us on the excursion.
