Swedish Massage for Couples on the Disney Wonder? - The DIS Discussion Forums

Hi all!

Excited to be embarking on our 5th cruise this spring, on the Disney Wonder. DW and I booked the Swedish Massage for Couples at the Spa, the price is $242. This will be our first time in the spa on any of the cruise ships.

Anyone have any experience or thoughts about this? Is $242 worth it?

My friend and our girls all went on the MR cruise last spring. As a special "kidless" surprise I booked this for my friend and myself. It was a really good massage but that is all it is. 2 tables 1 room. Remember it is "cruise prices" and that is always spendy and it does not include tips. We really enjoyed ourselves though and I get a massage on every trip. On the beach at CC is the best.

We have done this three times as a couple. Whether the Swedish massage or the Couples Choice ($$$$) we still giggle at how it ends. They join our hands and ring a little bell.

Is this just the regular treatment room?

Which treatment is the one where you get the massage in the oceanview/balcony room?

This would be the spa villa treatments and they start at $450 (for a couple)
