Yes, the horrible singer, first time we dined there we got a window table and it was great. 2nd time right next to the "show", it was embarrassing, from the singing to the parents falling over our table taking pics of their children dancing, Karen actually asked one if she wanted to join us

Yeah my bad since I posted my DH has given me chapter an verse on the terrible singer. I genuinely have zero memory of her. I did love the food there (guilty pleasure, don't eat much meat normally) and for sure my teenage boy inhaled it!

Funnily enough - that singer made our meal on our wedding day!!!
She sang for us for our first dance, got the group involved in everything and made a real effort for our big day!

Kona Cafe (wonderful lunch and a great way to break up a park day)
Jiko
Boma dinner (great buffet)
Ohana Breakfast
Whispering Canyon (although has new menu - think we'll go for breakfast next time)
Beaches and Cream.

Teen boys might like Big River Grille or ESPN at the Boardwalk.

Citricos was a lovely experience for us, and my wife said she had the best steak of her life there. We also had incredible steaks and sides at yachtsmans steakhouse at the yacht club.

Try the Captain's Grille at the Yacht Club - our own DD (now 14) has visited three times and really enjoyed it there. Afterwards, you can have a stroll around the Boardwalk, or even go into EPCOT through the International Gateway (about a 10 minute stroll) to watch Illuminations.

Boma's is always on our must list.
It's not to everyone's tastes but I find there's a massive variety on the buffet and it's good value for money. The AKL is good to have a look around too before/after dinner.

I was going to recommend the same thing. I enjoyed it thoroughly but I understand the menu has changed since I was there in May. Also, teenage boys will enjoy the pretty dancing ladies! EDIT: Just realised I mean the Spirit of Aloha. Isn't Ohana the breakfast thing?

I would also say Sanaa at AKL is fantastic. Didn't get round to trying Jiko but the menu looked fantastic and two different sets of friends love it there (one of them loves Sanaa as well).
If you're not staying at AKL one of those and then night viewing of the animals makes a lovely evening.

Sorry to kinda hijack, hope it's not too ...

But if you ever go to Amsterdam, hunt down a place called Cafe Loetje. Best steak my wife and I have ever had.

Kona cafe
Ohanas
Captains grille
Olivias
Beaches and cream

My favourite resort restaurant has to be California Grill but that may be closed when you are there so my second choice would be Kona Cafe.

Others I have had dinner at include:

Saana - very nice
Boma - a bit chaotic but the food is interesting
Beaches and Cream - a must do for us (great for burgers and ice creams)
Grand Floridian Cafe- disappointing dinner (but love the breakfasts!)
The Wave - food good, ambience poor
O'hanas - I liked it but DS refuses to go back
Cape May - great if you love seafood, not so great if you don't
Olivias - nice and relaxing (never seems to be that busy)
