Well our first night at AKL!

This resort is so beautiful! And all the CM are so nice!

Today we are taking the time to explore more of the resort...can't wait!!

I'm guessing they only change then every few years??? I liked the ones we got 12/2010 much better.

And WHY do they only offer 3 colors? Would it be that hard to add a 4th? It's hard to not get them mixed up when you have two of the same color.

You guys are a wealth of information. I get here every few days and am amazed at how many pages I have to read to catch up!

We have a 1BR Savannah view at Kidani booked- our friends that are traveling with us also have 1BR (Kidani) but they have either value or standard view (I can't remember which). DVC put a "travel with" number of both of our reservations so when rooms are assigned they will see that we are together. What are our chances of being close?? We have kids that are the same age (7-9) that want to be able to go back and forth on occasion from room to room (if we are at the hotel, say breakfast time). I don't want any of them wandering down elevators, etc....

I can't wait! This is our first trip to AKL!! We always stay at VWL so this will be so different for us!

Congrats on your upcoming trip! There are no "Value" villas at Kidani - those are only at Jambo -- so your friends have a "standard" booked. The chances of you being close to each other are very good -- you could end up right across the hall from each other!

There's a refillable mug sticky here on the resort forum that's speculating that new mugs should be coming out next month since they last got changed in March 2011 (and before that in 2009).

I hope this is true! We are looking a possible trip in May and I was hoping there would be new mugs. I have so many of the one's in the picture already.
