Fantasy February 16, 2013 - 7 Night Western Cruise Meet

I have to say one of the things I enjoy driving down to Florida from the great northeast is when it snows down south you watch everyone from states south of new Jersey all going less than the speed limit, but cars from NY, CT, NJ, pa, NH, vt, ma, and me are all flying. LOL. Hopefully today is a glimpse into the weather we'll have driving down...50+ degrees in January...I'll take it! I'm gonna paint Mickey's all over my back window...honk if you see me. LOL.

I know what you mean! I was the same way! Plus I thought you had to give everyone on the list a gift everyday. I didn't think I would have enough luggage to fit the FE gifts! so next cruise for sure!

You dont have to give a gift every day. Most simply give one gift for the entire trip. That said this will be the first time I am doing two gifts... My "standard" gift that I always give out (those on the FE list... dont snoop around the boards too much or u might bump into it) and one additional gift where i am stealing (with permission) from someone else's idea from the Canadian DCLs.

The singles and fives for tipping would be for room service on the ship (it's free for the most part but you still need to tip the guy that brings it) and also for the porters that handle your luggage before and after the cruise at the port and at the airport.

Thank you! That is very kind, but I know that some people are set with their FE gifts...plus we are traveling with my cousin and her family...I know she would be totally stressed out trying to do it at the last minute, and that would create family issues... so I will just wait until next year and take the plunge then! But I really do appreciate the offer!

Anyone looking for a pink tshirt to wear at The Pink Champagne Party. You can get one at Michaels for 3.99 could have been cheaper but coupon was expired. Pink not a color for me so I will only be wearing it once thats why I loved the price. Did not realize their were so many different shades of pink.

Hi everyone - what a huge thread. We just did a "last minute" booking on this cruise and can't wait. Only 2 weeks!!! Myself, wife and our 8 yr old son. We will be in 5538 (Forward/Starboard)

The wife and I will be driving from Saratoga Springs Resort to PC. Google maps says 1 hour 10 minutes. Is this pretty accurate. Hoping to get there about 10:15.

I didn't know there was a DISboards welcome center! I'm sure we will be rushing to get on the ship, since we are using the bus from the Polynesian...probably get there late, since we are told pick up will be between 11 and 1...

I noticed on the FE there aren't alot of people in the aft section of the boat...hoping I didn't make a bad choice for our rooms! We are aft on deck 10...anyone else there with us?

I prefer forward or between forward and midship especially on the new ships as those elevators are close to each other.... while aft elevators are a hike (from midship).
