http://www.purex.com/products/deterg...omplete-3-in-1 You can still find them at places that have some backstock. We used them once, and had spots on some of our clothes.

I have a few of the Purex sheets and I will bring them. I always have filled the water before adding the clothes, and have had no problem, doesn't mean I can't, but the convenience is worth the risk for this long trip.

We have always done laundry onboard. We are a family of four and we bring three pop-up hampers - one for lights, one for darks, one for socks and undies. They fit nicely in the closet on the Magic/Wonder. When a hamper is full, we take it to wash - generally have at least two to wash at the same time.
We have a supply of the Purex sheets still from previous trips - the only problem we ever had was once when the sheet fell to the front of the washer and therefore didn't "wash" but considering most people have too much detergent in their clothes anyway, a wash without full-on detergent is still gonna get clean. We have met some wonderful people in the laundry room while waiting for our loads to finish up, and sometimes have ended up staying in the laundry room chatting with other guests while our clothes washed rather than dashing back out. We also make a point of looking at our watches and noting what time we need to be back when there are others around - that way if someone else comes in and is waiting for a load to finish, someone might say yeah, that lady is coming back. And we do - we are always a few minutes early. Early morning is often a good time to do a load (or two) - if we know we're going to try to do an early morning load, we get the detergent and load ready the night before so whoever wakes up first can dash over to the laundry room (we stay on Deck 6). Yeah, I'm the sleepy-eyed lady in the Minnie Mouse PJs ![]() I will also say to be sure to keep up with how many times you swipe your KTTW card for washing and drying each time and check with Guest Services for a print-out of your account. Sometimes you get double-charged and they are happy to adjust it for you.
