Best place to sell equipment?
The time has come for us to upgrade to full frame, so we're looking to sell our dslr and several lenses to help with the cost. Any suggestions? eBay would take such a large cut that we would prefer not to go that route. I feel like I used to browse a website with camera and lens resales, but can't remember the address.

KEH.com gives good prices for a reseller and is very easy to deal with. But you will get more selling through craigslist or someplace like that.

If it's Canon, there's a pretty vibrant Buy/Sell area over at
http://photography-on-the.net/forum/...splay.php?f=14 (you need to register and have a few posts I think to view the Marketplace).

Fredmiranda is a top notch marketplace. I have bought and sold cameras and gear there and have great experiences. You do have to pay a small fee to be on the buy/sell forum.

I sold my DX gear to KEH during a visit they made to a local camera shop. They come to town once in a while and there are long lines of people selling gear. However, they pay cash right there and no shipping.
Honestly, they gave me just what I was going to ask if I sold it online. I was quite impressed that they gave fair value when buying. |

It's a Nikon D5000. We're getting a D600...I'm feeling anxious about the upgrade, and not sure if any of my assorted other gear will work (external flash, remote, etc).
