We are going to Epcot on the first day and then enjoying the resort the second day. Do anyone have any suggestions or advice for our day of relaxation at the YC. Thanks

Spending the day at SAB will be a great way to relax!!! Maybe end the day at Cape May or Yachtsman, then a movie on the beach.
You will love staying there, the location is perfect for EPCOT!!! |

I agree with the pp.....spend the day at the pool and end with a nice dinner. We love both Cape May and Yachtsman, so you can't go wrong with either one, IMO. Have a great trip

When we stay at YC/BC, we tend to do a DHS morning, come back to the resort for few hours to relax (SAB) and do evening at epcot.

elaw: Don't you just love evenings at EPCOT!!
OP, I hope you have park hoppers?? If so, you can spend each morning where ever you choose, then after a nice SAB break in the day plan your ADR's around EPCOT each evening. |

Wow, I originally read this as "especially the world showcase drunk." Yeah...although I'm sure that there are many who enjoy the world showcase that way!
I agree with everyone else...sleep in, head to SAB, do lunch AND ice cream at Beaches & Cream (because...why not??). Take a stroll on the Boardwalk in the afteroon. Have dinner at Cape May. Head to Epcot for Illuminations. That's a perfect day. |

Every evening, there is a campfire and a movie on the beach, so that is another thing to consider doing on your resort day. I would like to invite you over to join us on the Yacht & Beach Club FAQ forum. There's lots of info and pictures on the first page of the thread. Click on the link in my signature. Dee

Stayed there two years ago. In my opinion it is the best resort on property Your idea of Epcot and a resort day is the way to go. I have to agree on hanging out at SAB maybe hit beaches and cream then a game of checkers in the lobby. Don't forget movies on the beach and walking the boardwalk.
