Walk from AOA to WWOS? - The DIS Discussion Forums

Can you? And arrive in one piece, that is??

Thinking of where we might stay if catching some spring training. Wondering which would be more convenient--Dolphin or AoA? Never stayed at a value, but thinking AoA looks cute enough to try.

No you can't walk on the main roads at Disney.

There are no sidewalks there that I recall.

You are looking at a 1.5 mile walk from AoA, 3.9 miles from Disney's Dolphin Resort. I would not suggest walking to or from either one as it is just not safe. Granted you could walk on the grass, but there are no crosswalks at Osceola Parkway and that light doesn't stay red long.
If staying at either Pop Century, All Star Resorts or Caribbean Beach there is bus service to the sports complex. if Staying at AoA you can catch the bus at Pop Century.

Sorry, guess I wasn't clear! Know we can't walk from Dolphin. We'll have our car, but if we could walk from AoA, would be great. Couldn't remember if there were sidewalks along that road or not. If we have to drive from both, prob have to pick Dolphin strictly for $$$. Plus we can walk to 2 parks, so no big sacrifice LOL
