You get a 10% discount on the future cruise, also only a 10% deposit is required and you get an onboard credit of $100 for cruise under 7 nights and $200 for cruise of 7 nights or more!

It's for the new cruise that you booked.

No-the on board credit will be for the future cruise. Some people here book a dummy date on board, pick a 3 day cruise so the 10% down is really cheap. They put Costco or another travel agent down as the agent so they can then get the OBC from DIsney, transfer the reservation at a later date to Costco or other agent and then get the perks from Costco or agent IN ADDITION TO the on board credit Disney provides.
A question I just thought of--the 10% off you get--if you switch your reservation to a later date and different cruise, do you get 10% whatever cruise you wind up taking in the end? I'm considering doing a dummy date if my DH really enjoys the cruise, but I want to be sure the 10% off applies no matter when we actually wind up going.
