Need to get excited about Beach Club
Need to get excited about Beach Club...what is wrong w/me?!! We've stayed in Epcot area before but for some reason I'd be more excited for monorail resort. Feel like I may be disappointed w/theming, etc. And I heard it's very crowded (going Feb 20-27). And the buses (ugh). But can't convince DH it's worth extra $799 to do Poly. And we got a great 30% off BC. Tell me how much I will love it!!!

Beach Club is awesome!
Nothing beats being able to walk to two parks! My favorite was putting the kids to bed and then walking to EPCOT for Illuminations.

The Beach Club is phenomenal! To get excited, check out these threads....reading about BC and seeing the pictures of the resort is a great way to get pumped for your trip.
http://www.disboards.com/showthread.php?t=3025785 http://www.disboards.com/showthread.php?t=1735844 The buses aren't bad. We never had to wait more than 5 minutes for a bus. Plus, you can walk to the IG entrance at Epcot and either walk or take the boat to DHS. Hopefully the weather will cooperate so you can enjoy some quality time at the best pool on WDW property! |

I've never stayed at BC but I REALLY wanted to on our last trip (in November). I asked my DH several times about switching from the Poly to there. But my husband just said no. Well one of the ADRs we had was at Cape May, and as soon as we pulled up to the BC, my DH said, "Wow! We should have stay here!" I just looked at him and said, "Really?!?! Now you think it is a good idea." He didn't even know what I was talking about. Silly man <3
![]() But it's really a lovely resort and we really enjoyed CM. Also the pool is supposed to be awesome!

Beach Club is my favorite resort! Sorry, I'm also in the not-in-love with Poly camp. Also, not crazy about the monorail. I've been on it a couple of times when it broke down. I so much prefer the Epcot area and the ability to walk to Epcot and DHS. SAB is a blast.

I've stayed at YC so I can't comment on BC specifically but I will say that it is AWESOME being w/in walking distance of 2 parks. I really liked riding the boat to DHS, actually. You're also within walking distance of the Boardwalk area. Stormalong Bay is the best pool I've seen, anywhere. I love the sandy bottom...makes you feel like you're at the ocean w/o the yucky ocean water!
I think you'll really enjoy your stay at the BC! |

Seriously, BC can't be topped. Poly, like a previous poster said, is just way too spread out. Being under one roof is great. We wouldn't consider staying anywhere but BC of BW.

Hello!
![]() The Beach Club is absolutely one of my favorite resorts at the world. It is incredible! The location is great allowing you to be able to walk/take a boat to EPCOT and HS. The food choices are also great. I love Beaches & Cream and Cape May! and SAB is a reason in itself to stay at BC! ![]() and 30% is a great deal and I know you will have a good time! You are so lucky because your trip is closer then you think!!!! Don't worry about a thing! -FantasiaMagic

I am happy to read this thread. We are staying YC CL in April because we couldn't get Poly with our discount. I definitely think YC will be awesome, but felt like I was missing out on the Poly. I am just going to be happy with what I've got.
