We have one for Tusker House at AK at 9:10am and the park opens at 9, the EMH don't apply (if there are any) since we won't be on site. So I know they say to show up 15 minutes before, which means we need to check in there at 8:55. So what do we do trying to enter? Do I need to make a copy of our reservation and show it to them to enter before 9 or how does this work? Sorry we have never done breakfast at the park.

Usually there is a "breakfast check-in" area by the front gate where you can check-in and give them your confirmation number and name and they usually let you in before park opening. I know they have this at MK for CRT's and for CP, I would think they do this at the other parks as well.

I'm not sure when your reservation is but if you can get an earlier reservation, you will be able to get in. It would mean that by 9am, you could potentially be riding rides.
Tusker House is our favourite breakfast in all of WDW. A word of advice, ask for the bill shortly after you're seated. It's a buffet so a set price. Sometimes the bill takes forever (last time we waited 20 minutes!) and it's just wasted time.

. . . actually, Tusker is different than other parks.
. . . you can show up as early as 8:00am and get in
. . . you can also be seated very quickly and not have to wait for 9:10am
. . . so, even with a 9:10am ADR, you could still be done by 9:00am
So what do we do trying to enter?
. . . just show up and tell them your time
. . . the Tusker person has a list
. . . and, yes, the list person is from Tusker, not the park
. . . at other parks, the person with the list is a park turnstile CM
Do I need to make a copy of our reservation and show it to them to enter before 9 or how does this work?
. . . not really
NOTE: There is a little known fact about early entry for Tusker ressies.
If you have a ressie at 9:20am or earlier, you can get in at 8:00am. If
you are from Japan and have a ressie at 10:00am or earlier, you can
get in at 8:00am. (Actually, at any park you can get in at 8:00am with
a ressie at 10:00am or earlier if you say you are from Japan.)
