6 Month Anniversary Review Part I
6 MONTH ANNIVERSARY PART I
HAPPY THURSDAY DIS FRIENDS!!!! 59 DAYS TILL THE CRUISE!!!!!!!!! We still don't have a cabin number but hope we get one soon!!!! I hope everyone's week is going well! We had a cold snap the past few days but it seems to be ending with highs in upper 70s this weekend  DBF arrived a week ago today for what would end up being a great weekend despite sickness setting in!! HERE GOES.... THURS JAN 17: DBF arrived right on time via Southwest, bags came out quickly, and we were on our way to dinner...AT APPLEBEES!! Talk about a "local flavor!" haha. It was a good night and of course I didn't sleep at all but then again, I never do the first night he's here! FRI JAN 18: DBF drove me to Dunkin Donuts on the way to school, dropped me off then headed home! School was good on Friday and the lead teacher was on vacation so I was in charge and was left with a sore throat and no voice by 3:30pm! In the meantime, DBF went to Chick Fil A for breakfast, did homework for his classes, shopped at DTD, and went to EOS for lunch. At 3:45pm he picked me up from school and off to THE GRAND WE WENT!!!! We checked in around 4pm. Valet was super quick/easy. My car was taken away and our bags were taken away and in we walked! CM Nathan checked us in and he was actually the CM that did my park orientation at DHS back in May so that was ironic! We were given Big Pine Key and room 9510. We didn't ask for that building but as you will see, it ended up being perfect! The bag man was called over and walked us to the room (we declined a golf cart ride!) 6 MONTH ANNIVERSARY REVIEW PART II
HAPPY SUNDAY DIS FRIENDS!!!! It's a beautiful Sunday here and I plan on heading to Typhoon Lagoon in a bit..how many people can say that in January?! Back to the report! FRIDAY JAN 18, 2013 When I left off, DBF and I were heading to the food court to get a light snack before dinner at Narcoossee.    The Lagoon View of our building..IMO, not quite sure if that would be worth paying for?    View from the food court:  We filled up our mugs that we brought. I brought ones from home since we didn't get our DDP till POFQ the next day..remember that later on haha. I got a small soup and crackers before heading back to our room to get ready for dinner. Our ADR was at 6:15pm and it was such a nice and quick walk to the restaurant! DBF checked us in and asked the manager for a window seat but she said they were all taken but ended up getting us a corner type one which was just fine!  DBF and I both got drinks and the butter with the bread was amazing!  I got the filet with lobster tail..best lobster EVER!!!  For dessert we got the baked chocolate moose and I forgot to take a pic before we started haha  Our pic the server took:  After an amazing meal, we rolled ourselves back to 9510 to find a SURPRISE!!!!! UP NEXT: SURPRISE NUMBER 1, SURPRISE NUMBER 2, PRINCESS HAIR DONE AT GF, AND LEAVING THE LAND OF GRANDNESS!!!

Great dinner pic of you too!! So neat to see pics of GF. . .somehow I have never seen a pic of one of their rooms!! It looks beautiful!
I'm sorry there was sickness!  I am excited to read about your surprises!! Not too much longer until our cruise!!

6 Month Anniversary Review Part III
6 MONTH ANNIVERSARY REVIEW PART III HAPPY TUESDAY FRIENDS!!! I have some great news...DBF surprised me and we are staying at CSR for Valentine's Weekend so you know what that means..ANOTHER REVIEW BEFORE THE CRUISE TRIP!!! We are staying in a Business Club room with regular DDP. I can't wait So far we have Artist Point, Ohana, Mama Melrose, and Captains Grill booked. We will probably drop Artist Point so we can use 3 full credits. More news to come later. We still don't have a room number for the cruise and it's driving me crazy!!! MORE ON THE REVIEW... FRIDAY JAN 18, 2013 When I left off, we were leaving Narcoossees and came back to the room to find a surprise!!  The cake was super small but delicious and worth every penny! It was even good the next morning as I finished it up! We got vanilla inside and outside and it was amazingly great!!! After some cake, we were excited to see if we could see fireworks from our room..AND WE COULD!!!    We could hear the music perfectly and really enjoyed the show even if there was a building in front of us! After Wishes we enjoyed some more cake and then waited for Erin to arrive with her DD, her DBF, and his DD so I could do princess hair!! DBF and I roamed the gift shops of GF, went for drinks at the QS, and sat on the couches in the lobby and waited. When E arrived with her clan, we roamed the gift shops, got drinks, and headed to 9510 to do princess hair! When we got back to the room we found another surprise... TURN DOWN SERVICE!!!!!   I didn't feel 100% at that point and forgot to take pics!! Both girls looked great and princess hair stayed in all weekend..I always have my doubts!! They left just before 11:30pm and DBF and I got drinks one more time = loves the 24/7 QS and headed to bed!!! SAT JAN 19, 2013 Have you ever wanted to wake up to the sounds of Rope Drop at MK from the comfort of your bed...I DID!!!! We woke up just in time to hear the rope drop music from the balcony and even though we couldn't see it, we could hear it...so cool!!! At that point, my health was declining and DBF was kind enough to get me breakfast in bed via QS  We called and were able to get late check-out for 1 which was wonderful! We were able to take our time and enjoy the last few hours in our room. At 1pm we called to have our luggage taken and decided to explore for a bit before leaving.      For lunch, we decided our options were QS at GF, GF Cafe, Kona, or Capt Cooks...we ended up walking to Poly and eating at Capt Cooks!    I got the grown-up grilled cheese with fries and dole whip!  After lunch we went shopping in the gift shops, took the monorail back to GF and went shopping!! DBF bought me the D&B iPhone case that matches my purse that I got at Xmas from my Dbrother, a Tervis tumbler of GF, and a GF magnet. After shopping we got the car from Valet, the bags from storage, and headed to our new home for 2 nights...   UP NEXT: Checking in at POFQ, Splitsville?!!, Sickness continues....

What a pretty cake surprise you had in your room
 That was nice you were able to do your friend's daughters hair. sure that saved them a lot of money and was fun for you  How cool you could see fireworks from your room and hear the rope drop music from your room. Sounds awesome Sorry to hear you were not feeling well

6 Month Anniversary Review Part IV
6 MONTH ANNIVERSARY REVIEW PART IV HAPPY WEDNESDAY FRIENDS!!! The week is half way over! For me this "weekend" I will not be having a weekend! We have a school event: International Festival in downtown Celebration on Saturday and Sunday I'm working at DHS..= no weekend for me! I won't be off till Sunday Feb 10th! I need to work on finishing the review so I can move on to whatever is next!! OH BEST NEWS EVER TODAY!!!!! #1. DBF booked Ohana on Feb 15 (our late V-Day dinner) for 8pm so I cancelled my one for 9:35pm..yay!! #2 WE FINALLY GOT OUR STATEROOM NUMBER!!!! We were even upgraded from 6A to 5A!!! I hope the room is good! The only negative review that I read was a family who thought it slept 4 but that room only sleeps 3. There's only two of us so we're good! NOW FOR THE REPORT... SAT JAN 19 When we left off, we left paradise for POFQ!! This was my "treat" to DBF. It's the first resort we stayed at together as a couple so it holds a special place in my heart. It's also the same resort I ever stayed at as a child so two special places..ironic! We got through security, parked the car in the main lot, lugged all our bags into the lobby and checked in! The CM gave us room 5323, put DBF's CC on file for charges, and off we went!   The King rooms seem so much larger than two queens!  Last time we stayed we got the shampoo/cond combo. I was happy to see this!    We did request building 5 because it's close to the lobby, food court, pool, and boat. We got what we wanted! Check out the view!    And my phone case that matches my purse!    That slide used to be the greatest thing on Earth when I was 7 haha.  After unpacking, I realized we had left our mugs in the car. I had parked my car in the same lot the week before when I took my work ID to put on file for the room discount and came back to find ANTS all over the inside of my car. When we went out to get the mugs, once again, ANTS ALL OVER MY CAR!!! It's been over a week since we left and I'm still finding some..ugh!! We ended up throwing the mugs out (we were getting new ones anyways) and I wiped the entire front of my car with baby wipes and car cleaner. After that nightmare, we were finally ready to keep exploring the resort.   We went into the gift shop to get some cold medicine. It was $2.00 with my 40% CM merch discount so that wasn't horrible but when we went to pay the card was declined!! It turns out the CM never set a credit limit so a 2 second fix and we were off to find our new mugs. I got teal and DBF got Black. After some drinks we decided to take the boats to DTD and try to get into Splitsville! It was around 5 so I thought we should get in easy..WRONG. We got there at 5:15 and there was already a 2.5 hour wait. We decided to bail as I did not feel like waiting that long to bowl. We looked at movie times for Fork and Screen and nothing was appealing. The balloon was not running bc of weather so we walked back to the boat and headed for dinner at POFQ. I got the fried chicken with ice cream as my dessert.  It was delicious and hit the spot! After dinner we pretty much called it a night with the hopes that I'd feel better in the morning because we had a long day ahead with a visit from my Aunt and Uncle + my brother and his gf!! UP NEXT: PARK HOPPING, LUNCH AT EPCOT, SICKNESS CONTINUES...

Yay for DB scoring an earlier Valentine's ADR and glad you got your state room number too
Looks like a great view from your room. Such a pretty resort. That really stinks about the aunts Hope you are able to have some fun the next day despite your sickness

I just came across your report and have officially subscribed! I have loved reading the mini-reports so far and I can't wait to hear about the cruise. I can't imagine how excited you are!
I gotta say...how totally neat that you found your DBF here on the DIS...that is way too cool!
