We are making our first trip to Disney in 11 days and are staying at the Polynesian. We were upgraded to a lagoon view room, so I'm wondering which building I should request upon check in. Our kids are 4 1/2 and 6, and the only thing I'd like to have is 2 sinks. Love this thread, such wonderful info!!!

Hi! We'll be there the week of Sept. 21 and have requested Tahiti also (although garden view). We have the same concerns. Want to stay close to the TTC and not sure what other longhouse to request if Tahiti is not finished. Keeping our fingers crossed!

Not at all....we used a travel agent, and about a month after we made the reservation, she contacted to let me know we had been upgraded for free :-)

It is minus 20 degrees celsius without the wind chill where I am so I cannot wait to get to the poly in February!!

Hawaii is the 1st building being done and it is underway, not expected to be complete until March. I would expect possibly seeing pics at end of March. You can check out the tikiman pages and there are some pics that will give you an idea of the work.

Yeah....I'm in Chicago, and it's warmed up a bit, got up to 23 degrees farenheight today :-) Mid 60's may seem cool to some, but that will be a heat wave to us!

I am just wondering if there is a super target near WDW? We are driving over from Clearwater and I know the refillable mugs don't do juice or milk so want to get a few snacks and maybe some souvenirs to surprise the girls with!

I've read that their is a Publix near by, I believe. We are ordering online from Garden Grocer and having it delivered to hotel :-)

I saw his pics of the test rooms....and I have to say I like the old decor better! The wall color looks like mint green to me - and I can't stand that color!
