Normal "sizes" for magnets??

This might be silly to ask but what's the normal size for most of the magnets the DISigners make? I know that they can be adjusted but most seem to want to print out normal paper size (8x11ish)?? What's normal for Minnie/Mickey head with name inside? The porthole ones? The Mickey head with smaller Minnie/Mickey heads around the outside area? Name fills? I don't want them all to be 8x11 size. Is it personal preference? Just as long as the names can be read?

Whatever looks right to you. I've got magnets that are full page size, some 1/2 page size, and others are about 2". The Mickey heads are about 2".

Do you just adjust the size on your printer before you print?

I'm not really technically savy, but I take my pictures that I want to print and paste them in a word document, then print. I adjust sizes when they are in the word document in order to fit on the paper.

Thank you! I thought it might be personal preference but I really don't want all huge magnets so I'll have to figure out how to make them smaller--Microsoft Word may be my work around, too, as I'm not technically savy either. :-/
