Cakes at AKL

I've looked through most of the cake threads........and it seems there are better places to get cakes from such as the Contemporary and GF, but we decided to eat at Sanaa, Which we are all still very excited about and are sure the cake will be fine.
I was just wondering if anyone had a custom cake there with good reviews? I'm nervous about ordering a custom cake from there based on some reviews, but also saw the mickey mouse cake, and zebra cake that I may order instead. But, has anyone order a custom cake from there that you liked?
Pictures would be great, I haven't seen many from AKL, maybe because the other two places are more popular as they do make some incredible cakes, If not, just your opinion is good as well!

We ordered the zebra cake at sanaa and I can't begin to describe how DELICIOUS it was! The amarula mousse filling made it like a giant (but much tastier) zebra dome! So good with some French press coffee or steeped tea...
