Lose 22 pounds by April 1?
So I have booked a trip to WDW with my girls for April 1-7. The catch is .... I made a deal with my DH that I have to lose 22 lbs. first.
I am 5'2", started at 188 lbs. I actually started the challenge this past Tuesday and I am fairly confident I will be down by 2 lbs. by Tuesday, so that will leave me with 20 to lose in just under 10 weeks. Does this sound doable or am I just crazy???

Question - do you drink diet soda? If so - DON'T! Go cold turkey NOW. I dropped 25 lbs doing only that (switched to water) several years ago. I am your height. It took longer than 10 weeks, but at that time, it was the only change I made. That would really jump start things

I would say it's definitely a good goal. Although depending on your previous eating and activity level you could lose even more. With intense exercise and strict diet changes- think biggest loser- you could have similar results.
Good luck |

water water water... exercise, stick with it and push yourself.. eat CLEAN, watch portion sizes. If you do that I really think 20 lbs in 10 weeks is for sure attainable and in a safe way.

& stop all artificial sweeteners immediately. I could not even watch Diet Coke commercials for awhile! Seriously. Just don't sub with sugar, that would kinda defeat the purpose. If you do that AND excercise & watch what you eat - it will be so worth it! Imagine walking through the turnstiles @ WDW & not turning sideways!!! I was able to finally do that on my last trip. My stats were similar to yours. 25 lbs down from that alone. Another 30- 35 from eating low carb since then. Now, I am looking to reach my goal - hoping excercise will do that part. ![]() Drink only water, teas, coffee & maybe club soda . No sweeteners! Of any kind. You can do it! if I did - anyone can. I don't think anyone could be more addicted than I was! ![]() ![]() for you! GO - toss all of it out now. Pour it down the drain. |

Hi yes dump the diet soda-I don't know if you like them but Polar makes excellent seltzer flavors- even during the holidays limited holiday flavors and summer they have tropical flavors like pina colada.
I love them and they are refreshing-don't miss soda at all. You can do this-a trip to WDW is the prize-WOOHOO! Imagine how great you will feel. Are you posting on the journal page? Linda

Now if you were me, I would say NO. I only have to lose 20lbs and let me tell you those "last pounds" are hard to drop. Let us know how it is going OK?
