Which resorts are currently using RFID?
I KNOW that I've seen this somewhere, but I just can't seem to find it now!

I believe they all have the RFID door locks now, and a lot of them have the touch to pay installed (they were testing it at stores in CR when I was there last week - lots of people in ties gathered around the terminal trying to get it to work, lol!). So far, I haven't seen any signs of the wristbands yet - everything has been with the RFID cards.

I used an AP on my trip earlier this month. They were allowing people into Epcot with the touch cards, but I couldn't use that gate because of the AP. They actually had CM's holding up examples of the card and saying "If your ticket is on your resort ID, use this gate!" They had it set up where you normally exit through a gate to head toward the buses. I didn't notice if they were doing the touch entry at MK, and I didn't go to the other two parks on this trip.

Getting pretty much finished with this. They were about 50% done installing them at All Star Sports when I was there.

So if you opt out of FP+ and still use the old fashioned KTTW card, will touching that to whatever u need to on the door work the same way?

Are the RFIDs all bracelets? Can you take them off? I'm so annoyed with bracelets. Whenever we go somewhere that requires them (campgrounds usually) I try to get mine put on loose enough that I can slide it off.

I don't know if I'm adding anything new, but hoping I can sum things up.
All resorts are now using RFID technology. You just touch the card to your door to get in. The theme parks are also using this technology. There will be kiosks just for resort guests. They can be kinda hard to find...I didn't even realize there was one at Epcot at first. You can get through them pretty quickly as they will probably have several operating. I had some problems the 2nd day I used mine at the park, but was fine the 3rd day. Maybe it was just me...DH didn't have trouble. I didn't see anyone with a bracelet and I'm assuming that it was part of the testing. |

We were at Pop until yesterday. They were changing the door locks during our stay. They started the building we were in (Building 5) last Wednesday. Our door didn't get done because that was our resort day and we had the privacy tag on our door. We used the touch system in all the parks and it was really smooth.
