Is there a way to make ME work if you're planning to leave WDW and stay a night at an airport hotel for an early morning flight out of MCO the next day?

Is it a simple matter of lugging your own bags onto the bus, or is there a smoother way?

The luggage will be stored under the bus so to speak, so you won't have to lug.

You will need to bring your bags to the bus with you. They will be put under the bus and you will get them when the bus arrives at the airport.
