Back to reality!

Last weekend I ran the Disney World 5k and 1/2 marathon in my shorts and a tank top. This morning I ran a local 5k, and it was only 10 degrees and kind of windy! What a reality check! The good news is that I ran a personal best time for the 5k by almost 2 minutes. I just ran as fast as I could to get out of the cold!

Off to sweet dreams of running through Magic Kingdom....

Congrats on your races.I have done the same and boy how depressing when you get back-the exception was 2010 when it was 19 degrees and sleeting at the start of the WDW 1/2.

It was warmer here in Mass.

I am so glad that we had nice weather this year! I know it wasn't ideal for the full, and got pretty warm, but I thought it was perfect for the 1/2. Of course I stopped a dozen times for photos, so that helped my fatigue level...
