We have Just Dance Disney Party for the Wii We had a great time dancing last night...it even has it's a small world

My little guy popped in the planning DVD and proceeded to yell

I LOVE DISNEY PARKS!!!!!!!!!!! It IS just great how the whole family is getting excited for Disney!!!!





If you had tagging powers...I bet all of us would have a similar tag

Bree is very petite still (almost 6 and shorter than DS4) but she's getting there. That angle makes Nancy look LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOONG

We used the internal bus, no problems at all, even after EWP it wasn't an issue and we were one of the furthermost loops away! For pure enjoyment, it might be super cool. You can park right by the beach Plus...can DD drive one (dunno age restrictions) if so that would be worth it...but can you and your DH handle her driving

I am 1000% committed to Yacht Club for this trip. Perfection!

Unless the Polynesian (GV CL) comes available under discount....

-i leave for school to get DD's....wait for it
-come home, dog has attacked cat
-dog attacks cats sleeping cushions and proceeds to rip them to shreds
-dog snarls at DH who tried to get said cushions away from dog
-girls are hysterical, DD8 runs upstairs to lock herself in her room with Squirt
-DD8 begins screaming "SQUIRTY IS SCARED!!! SQUIRTY IS SCARED!!!" hysterically, which sounds like to mommy who is downstairs with monitor on
"SQUIRTY IS DEAD!!!" SQUIRTY IS DEAD!!"
-I have stomach sink, and feel as though my world has come to an end, and run upstairs
-DH tells me cat is OK, and then proceeds to step in dog pee accident #5
-decision made to maybe forgo weekend trial, and end trial after 4 hours.
-dog given back to owner after making sad eyes at me all the way there
-cry
-return home, stressed DH goes to see sick Nana, I yell at kids.
-great time was had by all.


I swear, I think I just wake up and say to myself "What can I do to upset myself and others today???"

Ha! Yes, I was close to that...however almost too exhausted to bother! It's all good today, trying to put it all behind me!

DH is at Nana's home, I think she will be at peace soon.

Wow. Thanks Kook. She was a special and independant lady. DH's grandfather died when he was two of a heart attack, so she was a widow for 38 years. She lived in the same house for ever, she loved to have a draft beer, and eat at Swiss Chalet. She was very down to earth and didn't mince words, but she was a kind person. My DH held a special place in her heart, as they lived with her after his grandfather passed for about 2 years.

She lived by herself until about maybe 8 years ago when she started to show signs of dementia. She thought there was a bad man living in her basement, and would call her daughters in fright. They tried to have her live part time with each daughter, but that ended badly, (to say the least) and she was put in the home. It was a very high end facility where the workers really did look after her well, and cared for her. She was legally blind but when the girls would come she would always try to reach out for their shapes and hug them.

Even near the end, my DH's voice saying to her "Hi Nana, it's Lee, I love you" would bring a smile to her face. He would then say "Give me a kiss" and she would try to put her little lips together.

DH's aunt has devoted everything to looking after her mom, and was her eyes, ears and advocate. She will now have to adjust to a life where she is not looking after mom everyday. It is going to be very hard for her.

Thanks for this....I was lucky to know her. A special lady.

Jen, that was beautiful, Nana was beautiful. She sounds like she was a spunky gal who knew how to have a good time and enjoy life. I like her spirit and her spirit will be a part of your family forever. Dementia can take a lot away, but Nana still knew when Lee was around and I'm sure that comforted her.
