So, it's Saturday morning and DD8 has a basketball game at noon. We are all just hanging out chilling right now...except for DH, who is doing work from home...again. He works so hard all of the time and with the project he is working on right now, he's getting paid extra for time worked at home.

I've been bugging him this morning to pay attention to me, but he's focused. That doesn't stop me....he just said..."let me work! The work this morning just paid for dinner at Yachtsman and the Sandcastle club for the girls!!"

Actually, upon second thought, I believe they'd be in more trouble from all of US getting together.

Mine would just want to know when and where the next ADR is. He always says he loves it there because he's "just steps away from another dining establishment." Dining on vacation is probably our most important activity (next to going to the gym).

-DD8 begins screaming "SQUIRTY IS SCARED!!! SQUIRTY IS SCARED!!!" hysterically, which sounds like to mommy who is downstairs with monitor on
"SQUIRTY IS DEAD!!!" SQUIRTY IS DEAD!!"
-I have stomach sink, and feel as though my world has come to an end, and run upstairs
-DH tells me cat is OK, and then proceeds to step in dog pee accident #5
-decision made to maybe forgo weekend trial, and end trial after 4 hours.
-dog given back to owner after making sad eyes at me all the way there
-cry
-return home, stressed DH goes to see sick Nana, I yell at kids.
-great time was had by all.


I swear, I think I just wake up and say to myself "What can I do to upset myself and others today???"

Still FWC for spring break. But, after I posted the new CR thread, DH said that CL looked really tempting. Only DD and I stayed CL there back in '10 when he was in AFG and I wasn't impressed at the time with the service, etc... So I asked him if I needed to switch back from FWC to a STD Bay Lake view room and he said, "not yet.".

We really do want to try a cabin and it's Heather and Jeanette-approved! I know you were there with a much larger group than us, but do you still recommend the cart for just 3? I'd do it if it will really add some fun to our stay. I can't get over that it costs more than a rental car or cab (neither of which we ever use). I don't want to rent off-site since technically, that's not allowed. The CM didn't know on the phone, but do you know if they give an AP discount? I feel like it should be considered "Recreation"?

Padawans is right behind me with a Triple threat CL split, and Candace recently upgraded to YC CL...I still think Candace will be at WL

Bree is very petite still (almost 6 and shorter than DS4) but she's getting there. That angle makes Nancy look LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOONG

We used the internal bus, no problems at all, even after EWP it wasn't an issue and we were one of the furthermost loops away! For pure enjoyment, it might be super cool. You can park right by the beach Plus...can DD drive one (dunno age restrictions) if so that would be worth it...but can you and your DH handle her driving

It really is a great place, and with only 3 people in the cabin there will be tons of space for yall to move around. Just my two cents....but if we were going back for more than just a couple of days, I would most definitely rent the golf cart. FW is such a huge place that I can't imagine having to walk or catch an internal bus just to get somewhere. Is your daughter old enough to drive the golf carts? I can't remember what age restrictions they had. If so, she would have a good time riding around. A thought did just pop in my mind....the bikes! Yall could rent the bikes! That would be fun, and it would be a quick way to get to the pool, etc. Lots to do at FW for all ages...give it a try
