I really enjoyed watching us dock.



The sky was just beautiful.





I took a couple of shots of the sports deck, as I wasn’t sure if I had taken some earlier in the trip. When you take as many pics as I do, you do forget what you have taken.





Around 6:40 I went and got a quick bite to eat.





And then I went back up top.





I then went back to the room to gather my things and let Lisa know I was going to head off the island. She was going to stay on the ship and then when I got back the plan was to get back off the ship together and look around.

I went to our meeting spot and waited for the other girls.







Brook, Carolyn and Shelly all arrived soon after. They said Susan was going to stay on the ship today as well.

A round 8 we headed out.







They had these bike carts to carry people back and forth, for a cost, of course.









I turned back to get a picture of the ship, but got my friends in there as well.

Jen, I just noticed your ticker and it said 75 days since your family vacation. I can't believe it's been that long .....

On the other hand, thanks for the photos of the Magic docking at Cozumel. Another port I need info on.

I know. It's so depressing. I really should take them down, but thats depressing too!

I love Cozumel, would go back there in a New York minute! We went to Chankanob park, wonderful place! My spelling is wrong but I'm not looking it up!

I wondered why they docked so far away, it would have been nice if they were on the part of the dock closest to shore. Now I know, to give those pedicab guys a job!

What a gorgeous sunrise. Cozumel is probably still my favourite port even though we have been to some amazing ones. I am glad that you decided to do the excursion.

I always wished we could be closer too. But yeah, those guys need a job.

I like it too. This was my 2nd time there and we docked at a different area, but it was still really neat.

I did sleep. I actually just heard that they did a study and sleep can be a mind thing too. At home if you don't get enough you feel sluggish and can't function, yet get the same amount on vacation and you can go on and on with very little sleep. It's all how your mind is seeing things. I am pretty much just like that too, so I believe the study.

Oh, I found the picture of John Charles taken in 1995! I sure wish I was as thin now as I was in this picture.



This was taken in front of the Diamond Horseshoe. He was called Marshall John Charles then. I sure do miss his shows.

You're killing me with all these sunrise photos. I can tell I would really love that part of a cruise. When we go to the beach, I'm up every morning at sunrise, but then once the sun is up, I'm like "NOW what do I do?" On a cruise all I would have to do is turn around and go "Cool, I've got this entire ship to photograph!"

Can't wait to see how your day goes!

Exactly. There is a lot do look at on these ships. And I think this tour would be something you like. I took a LOT of photos this day! Are you surprised?

The ports WERE the reason I chose a Disney cruise over the others sailing out of Galveston in the first couple weeks of January, the only time I can go. Disney is FAR more expensive than RCCL, Princess, and Carnival, and I think for the six-day itinerary in particular, there was nothing to make many people who sail out of Galveston try them - they were going to the same ports the other cruise lines visited, for far more money. KSF certainly helped attract families.

My 8-day January 4 was supposed to go to Key West and Costa Maya. Carnival goes to Key West, but we haven't sailed with them yet, so I had not been there. I was really looking forward to Costa Maya as our first cruise 5 years ago was supposed to stop there, but between the time we booked and the time we went, Hurricane Dean struck it, so we went to Cozumel instead. Unfortunately, this time around the seas were too rough to dock, so we missed it again.

Too bad Disney didn't do the 8-nights to Key West, WDW, and Castaway Cay out of Galveston from the outset. That would not have appealed to me personally, but I think it would have brought in more of their bread-and-butter (families and big Disney fans).

There can never be a bad sunrise, water view, coastline shot when cruising I bet! And you are catching them all!

I really like the one looking back on the ship, (without the friends in it, but there are cute too!)

I can't wait to see more from the day!
