Thank you both! I think we will just stay at Jambo again... we did love it, and while we do cook at home, we arent there enough to want to do it on vacation! We also don't have kids, so Jambo it is.

We are booked for march 23 rd til March 31 st !!!!

It is our first time to AKL. We are staying in kidani in a studio.

Can anyone give me an idea of what type of activities they have for the kids ?
My DD will be a week away from turning the big 6 .

This is my first post to the board. We are so excited that we are coming to AKL end of July/early Aug. This is our 3rd trip to Disney (WL 2009, BC 2012). We booked CL room. I am hoping they will have a bunk bed for the kids. Once we tried club level last year, that was the way to go. How is the bus transportation in real time to the other parks?
I have to say, staying at BC last summer, it was not great. SO crowded and the bus and boat from BC stopped at other locations, making the trip even longer. The fact that BC had boat service didn't make it any more desirable because of the many stops. So going in, I am not as concerned that AKL has only bus, but does it "feel" like it takes a long time to get to MK, Hollywood, etc?

Aiyee. That's what I meant. We cook at home...but love eating out at WDW!

To us, it didn't really. Waiting for a bus sometimes going back to AKL took forever though .

Laura, I definitely agree with you about Jambo. We stayed at Kidani in October. It was nice to explore a new resort, but the atmosphere at Jambo can't be beat.

The only ones it feels long to me is MK and DTD, both about 20 minutes. The great thing is there's no other stops when you're at Jambo House except for the DTD bus which goes to Kidani before leaving. I have no complaints about the bus service.

You're going to love CL, it is wonderful
