It's official! Trip is booked November 8-16! Staying at Wyndham bonnet creek. I know it's offsite BUT it's FREE! (My grandparents have a timeshare). Looks really nice. Sooooo excited!

Free works!!!! I would stay there if it was free. It looks pretty from the pictures.

I was playing around with the My Disney Experience app and I can see me reservation!!! However, the reservation number on the app is totally different than the one I actually have and use. So, I called Disney. The CM I spoke with was so sweet and just let me know that it's because of the switch-over with the new technology and website. I was also able to confirm my room requests, which made me feel better. I also told him I wouldn't mind having free dining, but he didn't say much, just to be on the lookout come summer. Oh, well....at least I tried.

OMG!!! Decisions....decisions...where to stay? I'm torn between CSR and All star movies...I know... big difference between them. My dd will be almost 7 when we go and I want her to be able to enjoy the resort we stay at. I know Movies has the larger than life movie icons and the fun pools, BUT they also don't have coffee makers in the room and I don't want to walk every morning to get coffee before I'm even awake enough to know where I am
Plus if FD comes out for tht time period I would rather have the moderate resort for the better dining plan. Suggestions? What was everyones experience at these two places?

We will be at AKL, Jambo Nov 7 thru the 12!!!! I am hoping to catch the end of International Wine and food and the start of MVMCP.

I don't think I have ever posted my dates. We will be staying at POR in the Royal Rooms 11/8 - 11/16/13. Cannot wait! Hoping and praying for free dining too.

AKL!!! I am so jealous! I've always wanted to stay there. We really love POR, but I would just like to splurge once and do a deluxe, you know? Plus, the lobby is just so pretty. If it weren't for the great food court at POR, I would probably be at AKL in a heartbeat.

As for free dining, I think figmentswife is correct....this rumor has been flying around more and more. However, there are some people who received FD PINs that were the same old, same old....mods got the regular dining plan. We can only hope, right?

I have my fingers crossed and a whole lot of hope!! I just can't see anyone booking values knowing you weren't getting a discount/deal and everyone else was. I think it might push people that were potential value customers to off site.

Can I join the group too? We will be there Nov 21 - 30 and hope to stay at POFQ (unless my oldest changes his mind and decides to join us, then it will be POR). I am sooo excited to be going back to my "Happy Place"!!!

We are staying at CSR 11/5-11/13. The pool and play area looks amazing and my daughter(9) has always enjoyed the grounds at the mods. We haven't stayed at this one yet. After all the activity, noise, and business of park days even she liked to unwind by walking through the resorts and after swimming, getting in the hot tub. It helped her be able to fall asleep easier too. We had thought about staying at AofA this year, but since LM rooms probably won't be discounted or have free dining promo, we might as well enjoy the queen beds and perks of CSR!
