Upgrade room

How can I check and see where in the ship the room location or layout?
They gave a room of 8584.

I booked and paid it in full a week ago, my niece (adult) would like to go and they charged me nothing to upgrade for a bigger room (3 adults & 2 children). What a good courtesy.
They will also refund us $23.00 more, I don't understand why they are refunding - while giving me an upgrade room. Oh well....
I booked for April 13 @ Miami (Disney wonder)

I'm a little crazy fanatical so I would double check the reservation if I were you. Also, not sure if you are cruising out of Miami soon but I've heard radio announcements for Kids sail free so maybe if they considered it a new booking they gave you that rate.

It sounds great but an extra adult, a bigger room and money returned would make me go hmmm.

Yes! that's the one she told me. Kids sail free promotion! Maybe that's why they charged me nothing upgrading the room and refunding $23.00.
Thank you

8584 is a Cat 4B family oceanview statroom with verandah. It is connecting to a 1 bedroom concierge suite 8582. You'll have a pexiglass verandah. The room has a queen bed (that could be split), a sofa that converts to a bed, a bunk that pulls down from the ceiling, and a murphy bed that pulls down from the wall. It is the biggest room that isn't concierge. Your room is located on the Starboard side (right side if looking forward) and is near the back of the boat and you are one room away from the Aft elevators.

As far as the room location I love that location. We love being Aft because for us we feel like there is less movement back there. The front of the boat tends to bob up and down a lot more in heavy swells and you can really feel it. Our last cruise on the Wonder (our first) we were on deck 2 aft and it felt pretty stable. When we were in the front of the boat in the theater or the adult areas we could really feel the up/down movement of the boat. Owning a ski boat I understand because it is the same way the people in the front get beat up on our ski boat because the back is where the propulsion is and it tends to be more stable while the front bobs up and down due to wake etc...

I hope that helps.

You are right, riding at the end is more stable than in the front.
I'm happy with the arrangement.
I found the 8584 ship layout. Thank you
