I do not care for J. Hudson's acting whatsoever. I absolutely loved her singing in Dreamgirls (clapped for her in the movie theatre, much to my fellow watchers' dismay), but did not like her acting.

I absolutely hated her acting in SATC2. She acted like she was......acting

Yes, on TV. But you can watch the entire first episode RIGHT NOW online at the NBC Smash site.

http://www.nbc.com/smash/

Just go midway down the page, to the "Recent Episodes" section. The episode is called "On Broadway."

Not fond of her in those either!! That commercial where she sang "Feeling Good" made me want to strangle her.

I liked Jennifer Hudson in Dreamgirls but think she's become a total diva. I am curious to see how she holds up against Megan Hilty.

Just got my Season One DVD from Amazon!! Cannot wait to start watching it all over again!

i'm excited for this season! i'm glad they got rid of the whole Debra Messing storyline. and Dev was beyond boring.

i'm also VERY happy that they didn't get rid of Derrick.

Too bad I don't think I'm grammatically correct.

How about "Maybe Jennifer Hudson and Katherine McPhee" ...

That's what I thought. It states feb 5th for a two hour premiere but I went on the website and watched what looks like the first 44 minutes of the first episode (at least I think).

44 minutes is the whole episode...the other minutes will be commercial time during the broadcast. Then they are also going to show a second episode back to back on premiere night.
