Great update! I can't believe that lady being so anti-EPCOT! (though, sadly, I really can - there are all too many people who don't feel the Disney magic, including members of my own family.) Personally, EPCOT is my favorite of all the Florida parks. Whenever I go for more than 4 park days, EPCOT is guaranteed to be a twice-visited (and possible thrice-visited!) park.

Great update!
We overheard a similar type Epcot comment a few years back and my now 13 year old DS said to me, "Epcot has something for everyone. There are good rides, lots of good food, characters, shows, entertainment, hands-on stuff and going to the world showcase is like going to museums. How can you not find something you like at Epcot?"

Subscribed and caught up! I'm excited to hear all about Boardwalk Villas. My wife and I were just talking today about how that's the Epcot resort we know the least about but want to learn more.

So exciting!!!! I love the morning of a Disney trip!!!! I love Allies shirt so much! It's so cute! Wow! I can't believe that lady was trashing EPCOT! >:-( I guess Disney's not for everyone after all! Who knew??

YAY! It's started. I love how you painted your nails with the dancing people Kristen! Need that pin so bad now
 Those Spectrospecs are awesome! I want some! Track some wrackspurts ya know. Will have to see if they have those at WWoHP when I go... someday. Big to the No Sleeping! It never fails to preserve energy for Disney sometime or preserve Disney time that is  That's awesome how you were able to shoot a whole getting ready video! Need to watch more of Jenna Marbles' videos to see what that is about. I've only seen the one about the Disney princesses lol Nice foreshadowing there, now I understand why my parents yelled at me when I didn't weigh my luggage the night before I left for Disney. All makes sense now! lol jk Can't believe the lady on the plane. Someone seems to be missing a whole lot of magic in their life. But yeah, more for us! Can't wait to read more!

I have just caught up with some of your other Frump Trip reports, loved your Frumps have hit the Wall trip report and can't wait to start reading this one!! You and Jess do such a fabulous job with your reports and videos I'm looking forward to seeing this one from start to finish!! All Hail the fabulous trip reporters!!
 So jealous you guys get to go a few times a year to WDW!! My sister and me did our first trip last year in January and ended up staying for 3 weeks and we're coming back this October for a Disney Cruise and to spend some more time in the world!!!Looking forward to reading!! Shannon |

Chapter 2- "We've Been Here for Ten Seconds and You're Already Pin Trading." July 14th, 2012 We were drivin' along, lovin' life and listening to the radio and pretty soon we were approaching...
 THE GATES OF HEAVEN ON EARTH.  WELCOME HOME. We were soooo happy. I don't think we stopped screaming until we got here:  Just kidding. We were still freakin' out.  HAPPY CHIPPY! We approached the beautiful Boardwalk and got out of the car. I saw a CM with pins and he had one that I liked. I kid you not, we were out of the car for literally ten seconds and I was already pin trading. Frump life. Allie was laughing at me. She didn't get the craziness of pin trading at first, but after a couple days she was just as into it as me and we are both pin freaks now. She even got her boyfriend into it! Happy pin trader:    We lugged all of our stuff in the lobby and I started FREAKIN' OUT! I'd never actually been inside the lobby of the Boardwalk, and it is SOOO PRETTY! Holy crap.    I'm in love. This was seriously the day that started it all. The EPCOT resorts are my absolute favorite places on the planet and the Boardwalk is just the epitome of my bliss. I LOVE it there so much. Everything from the theming and the ambience to the hidden Mickeys in the carpet and the striped socks that the male CM's wear. IT'S ALL PERFECTION. Anywho... We found out that our room was ready, got our room keys, and Allie and I headed up to the room while the Units took care of some other check-in formalities. We had a TON of stuff to carry, so when we got to the room this nice family walking by held the door open for us while we got our stuff inside. How sweet. Our room was on the fourth floor, and here's the best part: IT WAS RIGHT AROUND THE CORNER FROM THE ELEVATORS. If you've ever stayed at the Boardwalk, you know how nice this is. We literally took five steps from the elevator and BAM- we were there. It was great. Here's the tour of our one-bedroom villa! Full kitchen:  This was really nice, and we used it way more than I thought we would! The living room area:  THE COUCH BED:  Allie and I shared this for the duration of our stay, and it was SO big and SO comfy! I loved it! Here was our view from the balcony in the living room:    There were actually two balconies, one in the living room and one in Allie's parents bedroom. It was really nice that we each had our own! I loved this balcony. I loved sitting on it at night and hearing the jazzy 20's music and just people watching. One night, this group of people in club-wear were walking to the parking lot and they were all REALLY drunk, and the one girl did a complete face-plant. She seemed okay, it I was CRACKING UP. So funny. Here's the actual balcony:  The bathroom:  The GIANT shower:  Some cool details:   The teacup lamp was right next to my side of the couch bed, and I loved it! Happy Frump:  Of course we had to turn on Stacey next! Unfortunately, due to a solar flare that was linked back to OUR ROOM (I'm not even kidding- the whole resort was having TV issues and the entire problem was linked to us. Oops.) Stacey was really choppy. We got through that tragedy (somehow), unpacked and planned to meet up with the Units later on at the Boardwalk. The plan for the four of us was to head to EPCOT, but we had different agendas. So, the Units got to the villa and started unpacking just as we said au revior! We had an important stop to make before heading to EPCOT!   So through the totally gorgeous lobby we went and into the morning sunshine! Stay tuned! Continued in Next Post

Chapter 3- "I Think It's Bastille Day..." July 14th, 2012 We headed outside and down to the Boardwalk!
 It was a BEAUTIFUL day!    My beautiful Yacht Club.  Follow me down to the Boardwalk!  Beach Club!  Since we hadn't eaten anything since the airport at like 5:30 A.M., Al and I were in need of a snack!  So what better place to go than the Boardwalk Bakery? Seriously, this place is awesome. It smells SO GOOD and everything in there is DELICIOUS. I know, I've tried almost all of it. :P What should we choose?  Allie wants EVERYTHING!  She ended up going with a chocolate croissant, though. Disney chocolate croissants are the BEST!  I went with the strawberry cupcake!   We got one of the cute high red tables by the water to enjoy our snacks. They were delicious! My cupcake was so light and the strawberry filling was delicious! I loved it! Here's our view from the table:   Does it get any more perfect than that!? I don't think so. The Units walked by us on their way to EPCOT at one point, and we tried to get their attention, but they were totally oblivious. Ah well. Once we finished up our snack, we headed to EPCOT. We went through International Gateway, which is actually the best thing ever, and headed to Future World! As we saw France from across the bridge, we noticed some flags on the posts and it looked like some celebration was going on. I wondered aloud what it was and Allie goes, "I think it's Bastille Day," all matter-of-factly. To that I replied, "What the heck is Bastille Day?" At that, she want on this rant about dungeons and rebellion and something about "ATTACK!" I still didn't know what it was, but it was truly hilarious so I was glad I asked. :P    Allie started to hear the Innoventions Loop, which is her FAVORITE. Happy girl. (:  TOUR GROUP SPOTTING:  It's July. It's Disney. There's gonna be tour groups. We knew this. And this was SO not our first encounter with these obnoxious fools. SO NOT. We ignored them as best we could (after sniping them, of course) and headed into The Land, where we breathed deeply and acquired some Soarin' Fastpasses for later on. HOORAY! Then we headed to the Imagination Pavilion to visit Figment!  NO DANCING!  Hidden Mickey!  I'm pretty sure we were the only ones dancing on this ride, but we really didn't care.
