I thought we were referring to Mickey Mouse coming in . Apperantly he is too big to make it to the back of restaurant and we couldn't see him.
But yes we did see the tv screens.

I know there will be the 3 regular rotation menus + pirate menu + ???

Since it was dubbed semi formal night, did they serve the Golden Mickey menu that night? Or did you have the 'til we meet again menu on the last night like other 5 night cruises have had. Or something else entirely?
What is the difference in the menus :0)
Thanks so much.

Ahhh that makes sense! Imagine Sorcerer Mickey, lots of wand waving. Yep- that's all you missed. No biggie!

The 3rd night is pirate night- so a repeat of the previous night MDR actually makes good sense, otherwise you'd miss one menu.

Yes, Disney does rotational dining. There are 3 smaller dining rooms in use every night, for both early and late seating. Basically in your dining room for your specified time, there will be @ 1/6 of the cruisers on board. Your dining rotation is on your KTTW card (room key and ID) Each night you and your family will rotate between one of the dining rooms. You will have the same servers and table mates each night, but in a different dining room, different menu. Each dining room has a theme, and their menu reflects that. On pirate night everyone on board has the same menu.
It runs very smoothly and is quite enjoyable!

No formal night just semi on night 2. No lobster if anyone likes that on a formal night.

I think that was all the questions.

Shows were welcome aboard, toy story, dreams and farewell party. Forget the name of the one on second night.
Movies were Lincoln avengers 2 wreck it Ralph and monsters inc.
Thanks for the movie tips! We'll be on the Wonder soon so this gives us a good idea of what is playing.

It depends- we've sat alone as a family (4 of us) one cruise, and with another family of 4 on a different one. We saw HUGE groups of 12+ together, and as few as 2 people at small tables. Disney does its best to pair you with other similar families. If you want to sit on your own you need to have that noted on your reservation 2 weeks prior to sailing, as they begin working on the plan well in advance

On my first DCL cruise, hubby and I cruised alone and were seated at a table for 8 with couples about our same age all traveling without children.

On my second DCL, I traveled with my parents and we had a table for 4 to ourselves, but my dad is in an ECV so that may been part of the reason. Our tables were easily accessible with the chair.

Our third DCL this past DEC, we had 5 cabins total and were seated all together at one large long table with one set of servers.

A few sites out their list the menus. Google 'Disney Cruise Line Menu'.

Each MDR has its own signature menu. The DCL site has these menus posted as well. That covers 3 nights of dining. The other nights have special theme menus that are served at all MDRs. They are listed on the site I posted, under Special Dining. It looks like on the 5 night cruises are doing Pirate and Till We Meet Again. Some of us were hoping for Golden Mickey's because of the yummy choices.
