How Much Are Tastings?

I am interested in the cost of the tastings, specifically Mixology, Cognac, and Mojito? On the Fantasy if that matters. Thanks!

We did Mixology on the Wonder this past September. It was $15, and worth every penny!

All of the tastings I've done have been $15. The best one to date was the mixology class as you pour/make your own drinks. It was more fun and a better value than the other tastings in my opinion.

When do you book these tastings? When you're onboard?

tastings

We have found that the tasting and mixology are really alot of fun and very interesting-- you need to book almost immediately after arriving on the ship - the navigator will have the schedule of the tastings -- you can book them on the Wonder and Magic at guest service on the Dream and Fanasty it is usually at one of the bars, guest service will know -- they take a limitied number of guests so they do fill up fast.

There are some that are in the $20-$25 range - they're not all $15. Champagne tasting was 25. I think the cognac wil be 20.

Is this offered on every cruise? We are doing the 4 night Bahamas cruise on the Dream on August 25, 2013... It sounds like it would be a lot of fun!

Does anyone know if the mixology is offered on the 3 night cruises. We did the tequila tasting in 2011 but I don't remember seeing mixology.

We LOVE doing tastings on cruise ships... This is our first on DCL, do we really book these first thing upon boarding???? or just play it by ear, or by day? I only have experience on NCL where you just show up to the bar whenever the time for the tasting is and that is it, please instruct this newbie on what to do!!!!

We booked at Guest Services on the Fantasy. If they're sold out, I'd recommend showing up at the tasting anyway to see if you can be added as we had a few no shows at ours, so those who wondered in were invited to participate for the fee.
