Is the House of Blues a fun environment?

The other 'fun' places don't appeal to me, and we decided to eat at a new place in DTD this year. So we went with HOB. I'm wondering if it's a fun and cool place to eat. I am really kind of looking forward to it for some reason...just hope it's not a let down.

Oh well, as long as the foods good I guess it's just one meal out of a weeks worth of meals.

Honestly when we went I liked the live music outside the restaurant but you can't hear it inside. The atmosphere was about the same as any other family place back home and to be honest I wasn't super impressed with the food... but that could be that we prefer dry rub ribs over barbecue sauce ones.

I love HOB ... not sure I'd consider it a "fun" environment but it certainly is cool. Sometimes they have a performer out on the front patio playing some jams and whatnot but to me the food is exceptional.

Lobster Mac-N-Cheese and the Shrimp & Grits are the BEST!!

I have no doubt you will enjoy it!

1) Not meant as a "fun environment".
2) It is a restaurant.
3) Plain and simple.
4) Yes, live music OUTSIDE and in the PERFORMANCE HALL.
5) But, only recorded (and loud) music in dining area.
