Amelia: Amelia's eyes widened. Gone was the helpless, sad Max Amelia had felt sorry for. This Max pretty much terrefied her.
"I... I... uh.." she started to mumble, avoiding looking directly at Max, " I.. was.. I'm sorry, I just.. was in the library. I saw you. I was just going upstairs. I didn't mean..." Amelia's voice trailed off. She was surprised she was able to get that many words out. She hoped Max wouldn't be too angry with her. But then, she thought, it wasn't like Amelia shouldn't have been there. The library was open to anyone. But, she had been kind of sneaking around, so maybe Max had a right to be angry.

Max: Max looked at the stumbling, terrified girl, and took a slow, deep breath. She was no longer angry, but instead studied Amelia, looking thoughtful. Questions raced through Max's head. Did she see her screen? Did she know what Max was looking at? Did she read what her father had sent? For one moment, just one moment, fear flashed in Max's eyes. But then she regained control. She decided Amelia was too frightened of her and of people in general to have been brave enough to have snuck a peek at Max's screen. Sighing, she said, "I believe you." She turned around to look the email over one more time, and then against her instincts spun back around. "I wasn't on the computer. I was in the nonfiction section on this floor. Clear?" Max would wait for Amelia's nod, and after she would see it, Max would turn back around, pull up the browser, read through the email one more time, and then close it, turn off the computer, and then head out the second floor doors.

OOC: Homework. Sigh.

OOC: back from work

River: River was getting hungry, she was ready for lunch so receiving the mental announcement that lunch wasn't until 12:30 made her a little upset, but not for long, she continued to follow the group.

Nate: "It's so weird when Collins does that. It's like there's a intruder in your brain. So, we've got an hour and a bit. Would you rather go to the beach or forrest?

Margo: Margo was happy the group didn't mind her joining or question why she appeared from the back of the school. "I'd personally prefer the beach. I've actually never been to a beach before. Yesterday was my first day ever to lay eyes on the ocean."

River: "I know, it makes me nervous" River jumped at the word "beach" her power controlled water, but water made her more nervous than anything, she only ever used her power when she was completely alone, and the thought of a huge body of water just staring her down, willing her to control it scared her. She was always worried to be around water and people at the same time.

Nate: Since no one else was taking charge, Nate decided to. "Ok, so we have one vote for the beach. I love the beach, but have been to millions of them. Daniel, River, what are your votes? I'm not even sure if we have enough time to go to, actually see things, and get back from either. Maybe we should just stick around here for today, and go farther on the weekend. What do you all think?

River: River was still lost in her fear of the ocean when she heard Nate asking what her vote was "forest" she blurted out without thinking about it, then she processed the rest of his question, I don't care if we go there now, whenever is fine with me she said quietly, trying to draw attention away from her abrupt answer avoiding the beach. She knew she would have to show others her powers at some point in time but she just wasn't ready yet, and the beach would just give others the chance to encourage her to show them, and she just wasn't ready yet.

Daniel: 'It is kinda weird," Daniel said, "but hey - it's probably pretty useful." Daniel smiled and shrugged. "I'm good with either place. I'm sure either will be interesting." Daniel, having travelled and lived all over, had seen both oceans and forests in his time, and would rather others decide. Then, thinking, he said, "It really depends on how long it takes to get to these places. From the helicopter, it looked like the mansion was in the center of the island."

OOC: Um, I might be stupid, or perhaps just really confused, but I don't remember any point during the game when Daniel was set off or showed any sign of having a temper. Now Max, maybe so, but not Daniel. So is there a moment that I'm forgetting, or is that just River being afraid to make people mad?

Or we could go this way from the front of the mansion, because this way seems most direct to the beach. River: River saw Daniel smile at her and naturally looked down, what she seemed to always do when someone smiled at her, but the weird part was that as she looked down she felt her cheeks heat up, was she blushing!? Why!? She didn't understand. She quickly to a deep breath and calmed her self down, and looked back up waiting to see if Margo or Nate would respond to Daniel's question.

Margo: "Sure! There will be plenty of time for the beach in the future and I love woods." Margo loved everything about forests. The trees, the sounds, the smell, the feel. She just felt so alive while inside.

Nate: "Okay, it's settled. Let's go so we'll have enough time to get somewhere before lunch." Nate began to walk around the house, taking in the new scene.

River: River smiled widely, she was excited to actually be going somewhere, she followed along with the group feeling like she was a part of it. A feeling she never remembered having.
