Tipping question

Are you suppose to tip on Magical Express and other Disney transportation? Just want to be prepared. Any places other than Restaurants and bell boys that should be tipped as well.

Thanks.....

Yes, you are to tip bell services, magical express if they handle your bags, house keeping, valet parking.

I can't think of anywhere else. DH usually handles this. Hopefully, if I missed something, someone else can add to this.

no tipping on Disney Buses to & from parks.

The normal tip is $1-$2 per bag. Housekeeping isn't a "tipped" position at WDW.

Housekeeping isn't a tipped position per se, but lots of folks do leave something for them.

Mousekeeping is actually a union, non-tipped position. It's not necessary as their wages are collectively bargained for. Just FYI

We always tip Mousekeeping, or housekeeping in any resort or hotel. We appreciate the service they provide. To us it is not a matter of whether they belong to a union or not. For us, it is the right thing to do.

ME, yes. I think there was a sign at the front of the bus suggesting a gratuity, plus the bus driver mentioned it when we arrived at MCO.

We also tip housekeeping $5/day. It's not unusual for union members who have collective bargaining agreements to be tipped. Additionally, we consider it a personal service, so it seems more than appropriate.

FYI, virtually all employees at WDW are union members, so using your logic you wouldn't tip anyone, since their wages are collectively bargained.
Yes I know that servers etc., make below the minimum wage, but let's be realistic. Anyone getting tips as part of their income never declares 100% of monies, and I guarantee you that housekeeping make less salary then any of the "tipped" positions at WDW.

I tip everyone at WDW at least one dollar. I bring 100 single dollar bills on each trip and any cast member that says anything nice to me gets a dollar. This makes me feel less guilty that I potentially have a job that pays more than a cast member.

I dont care if it's a 'union non tipped job'. You make $8.46/hr (or whatever ridiculous rate min wage is) and you clean my toilet daily? You get a tip. I tip mousekeeping both am and turndown service using envelopes I make up, valet and bell services. Plus anyone else I can. That I in addition to my waitstaff.
