Best place to see July 4th fireworks - The DIS Discussion Forums

We are staying over at Disney World for one night on July 4th and wont have park tickets. Where is the best place to see the fireworks? What hotel would you stay at?

The Polynesian is the best place to watch fireworks but it will be jam packed on the beach that day and you should make your dinner reservation now.

We stayed at the Grand Floridian for the 4th of July one year and ordered room service and then watched the fireworks from the marina area and it was wonderful.Not too too crowded and it was a great view.The next morning we went to magic kingdom and practically walked on everything untill around noon.I think everyone was there the day before so it was really slow.
