Bringing wine on board

Where are some easy places to stop and pick up wine when driving from MCO to Port Canaveral? Would prefer a grocery store or Walmart/Target.

If you drive beyond the Port into Cocoa Beach, there is a Publix, CVS and a WalMart at/around the A1A/SR 520 intersection. We cruised last week, non-Disney, and I don't recall seeing anything on the 528 between the airport and the Port. We went into Cocoa Beach to pick-up some things at Ron Jon's and it only took a few minutes to get there, shop, and then head back to the Port.

We've stopped at the Publix mentioned above to pickup wine. Found their prices are really good and a large selection.

And the OP didn't ask but I thought I'd mention that there is no need to bring your own wine opener or wine glasses. Room service will provide both. We usually order an "all hands on deck" for a mid-afternoon snack and ask for them then.

We usually ask for extra crackers. You can also specify what cheeses you want if you find that you like/dislike the standard assortment.

There is no charge for this from room service but we usually tip the person bringing it a couple of dollars.
