VGT Limited Time Offer? - The DIS Discussion Forums

We've been considering the Feb 10th Dream sailing. When I checked the site today, all the *GT offers were gone. Are there a limited number available or is it only for a certain period of time? Is there any chance they might become available again before the cruise date?

Proof that we need to be more decisive!

The mystery deepens. Per another post, all the FL resident rates also disappeared. Makes you wonder what DCL is up to.

But to answer your question--any rate can be pulled at any time. Typically they are limited by either dates, number of cabins available at the rate, or both. For instance, some specials will be listed as available until a particular date, but should the cabins fill, they will disappear.

Some specials last a matter of hours...and others are pulled and then reappear, sometimes at an even better rate! All you can do is buy it if/when you see something you like.

*GT rates will vary depending on availability. IGT go first, followed by OGT right after. VGT tend to last a little more since 80% of the cabins are verandahs.

If you don't mind oceanview, an OGT typically has considerable savings and there are good chances of being bumped to a verandah.

In any case, Feb 10th might be done - Feb 24th has *GT rates available, so it doesn't seem to be a 'glitch'

The *GT rates come and go. We were dragging our feet on if we should switch to the Jan 26th sailing or keep our March sailing. Well we decided to switch and I went online to book and it was gone! About a week or so later it came back on for about 4 days then was gone again. Just keep checking and it definitely could show up again.
