Week of Feb 9?? No rooms anywhere. What's going on?

I really freakin hate this new website. I have to click each and every hotel to check availability and there are none available.

Ouch - we're going part of that week too. Was definitely not looking for crowds like that. I know it's Mardi Gras (didn't when we booked). Can't believe that would bring so many people though.

There must be something wrong with the website. I know the values are sold out but I can't believe every hotel is booked for Mardi Gras week. At least I hope not since we'll be there

Not sure what you did wrong or what might have been up with the site but I just went and plugged in a check-in of Feb 9 and check-out Feb 15 and it listed every resort and they all had rooms available. I copied the url from the search I did, not sure if it will work but you can at least use the prefix.

We just booked our vacation for that week (booked it yesterday) and had no problem finding rooms

I had heard that the values were sold out. But I had not heard anything about the others. Is it possible that you are using a pin or promo code and the allotted rooms are sold out? I really hope the crowds will not be bad - I was so looking forward to a nice low crowd vacation. But I do know there are plenty of us escaping Mardi gras for the world....

We were in the planning stages last year around feb. I remember POFQ being completely booked for mari gras week. It was quit busy around that time there was a lot of talk about difficultly getting rooms on the POR/FQ boards. But it could also be the "wonderful" website too. I can only view the site on my laptop on our iPads it's the old site. I haven't figured that one out yet

Championships. They are staying at the All-Star resorts. That's probably why they are all booked.

Thanks for looking! I follow the link and I only get the Poly and Fort Wilderness. I called today and was able to get Caribbean Beach 2 preferred rooms. We need two rooms and that puts the Poly out of our budget for this trip. We still could not get rooms for the 9-10, but I have reservations for the 11-17. We are going to just have to redo a few of our plans.

I am freaking out a bit too, but I was able to FINALLY get rooms this morning by calling and the CM worked with me for about 40 minutes. (Shoutout to CM Wednesday who was really amazing and will be getting a postcard in the mail for her working like mad for us) I am in a bit of panic mode about how busy it might be, but I could not book until my dad's oncologist cleared him to travel that week.

My CM this morning said it is the week before President's Day and more people are traveling at that time because some schools have gone to being off that week, Valentines Days and some sporting events are taking up large blocks and Mardi Gras. Perfect storm I guess!

I am using a passholder discount for our rooms, but was completely willing to pay rack rate, but I still haven't found rooms that fit our needs for the 9 and the 10. I think we are just going to fly down Monday now and leave Sunday morning.

I know it is so frustrating! I had to use google chrome on my laptop to get it to show everything. Our computers at work are only showing portions of the site and where you generate information it is blank.

That must be the blocked off rooms! Maybe they are holding some at POR too because I can't even get one room for either of our dates and I need two !

the following weekend is also Twirlmania, but every year we've attended there were also choir and band events. They likely have rooms blocked for all of those events -- not sure when they're released if they aren't needed.

I've been trying to get Feb 10th at an all star resort for a couple of weeks -- still haven't got it. I don't know where these other posters are finding rooms.
